Possible interference from heterophilic antibodies has been eliminated by adding mouse IgG to the conjugate and by additional blocking reagents in the microtiter plates. Changes in kit performance include:

  • Lower background and M30 antigen values gives better linearity in the low range
  • Reduction of false-positive values
  • Requires 5 washing cycles instead of 3
