The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and the International Association for the Study of Liver (IASL) invite you to submit an abstract for presentation consideration at the 2008 Liver Meeting®, held October 31 – November 4, 2008 in San Francisco, California.

The International Association for the Study of the Liver (IASL) will hold its 50th Anniversary meeting in conjunction with the Liver Meeting® 2008. IASL is a non-profit organization whose aim is to foster and facilitate, in an international context, the development of knowledge towards the prevention, recognition, and treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases and to facilitate the training of experts in hepatology.

NEW Disclosure Requirements for the 2008 Liver Meeting®:

All authors on the abstract author string are required to complete their own financial disclosure statement on the 2008 Liver Meeting® abstract submission site either disclosing all financial relationships with commercial interests or indicating that none exist. Submitting authors will NOT be allowed to submit disclosures on a co-author's behalf.

Abstracts missing co-author financial disclosures will be in jeopardy of not being reviewed and involuntarily withdrawn from the 2008 Liver Meeting®.

Registration and Housing will open mid-July 2008 for members; and for nonmember in early August 2008.

Program and Course Information will be available in early spring.
