Immunogen: Human Protein C Inhibitor (PCI) purified from plasma.

Presentation: 0.1 ml of goat IgG conjugated to horseradish peroxidase by the periodate method. The IgG-HRP concentration is 2.0 mg/ml in a stabilizer solution containing 50% glycerol (v/v). This conjugate has an Rz ratio (Reinheitszahl, A403/A280) of 0.41 as determined spectrophotometrically.

Storage: Store in freezer between -10 and -20°C. Gently mix before use. Avoid exposure to Sodium Azide or Thimerosal as these can inhibit peroxidase activity.

Specificity: This antibody has been solid phase adsorbed to remove contaminating reactivities. It is specific for PCI as demonstrated by immunoelectrophoresis. A single precipitin line is obtained against normal human plasma. No reaction was seen with PCI-deficient plasma.
