This product is suitable for use as a detecting antibody in ELISA and other solid phase immunoassays for sheep IgG.

Immunogen: Purified Sheep whole IgG.

Presentation: 0.5 ml of donkey immunoglobulin affinity purified on immobilized sheep IgG and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase. The IgG concentration is 1.0 mg/ml in a buffered stabilizer solution containing 50% glycerol (v/v). The conjugate has an Rz ratio (Reinheitszahl, A403/A280) of 0.47 as determined spectrophotometrically.

Storage: Refrigerate for short term storage, or aliquot and freeze below -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles as antibody potency may deteriorate. Avoid exposure of conjugate to Sodium Azide or Thimerosal as this can inhibit peroxidase activity.

Specificity: Immunoelectrophoresis of this antibody prior to conjugation gives a single precipitin line of identical mobility to that obtained with purified sheep IgG. There is virtually 100% cross-reactivity with goat IgG when tested by ELISA.
