This product can be used in immunoassays for bovine prothrombin and thrombin as well as thrombin-inhibitor complexes.

Immunogen: Bovine alpha-Thrombin inactivated with PPACK.

Presentation: Vial containing 0.25 ml of immunoglobulin affinity-purified on immobilized active-site blocked bovine thrombin. The IgG concentration is 2.0 mg/ml in 10 mM HEPES, pH 7.4, containing 0.15 M NaCl, and 50% (v/v) glycerol.

Storage: Store between -10 and -20°C. Mix gently before use.

Specificity: When analysed by immunoelectrophoresis, only one arc was seen with normal bovine plasma. Identity was verified using purified bovine thrombin.
