This product is suitable for use as detecting antibody in ELISA's for thrombin and thrombin complexes, or for other applications that require an enzyme linked antibody.

Immunogen: Human alpha-Thrombin inactivated with PPACK.

Presentation: 0.1 ml volume of Sheep IgG conjugated to horseradish peroxidase by the periodate method. The concentration is 2.0 mg/ml in a buffered stabilizer solution containing 50% glycerol (v/v). The conjugate has an Rz (Reinheitszahl, A403/A280) ratio of 0.44 as determined spectrophotometrically. No preservatives are added.

Storage: Store between -10 and -20°C. Gently mix before use. Avoid exposure of conjugate to Sodium Azide or Thimerosal, as these can inhibit peroxidase activity.

Specificity: Prior to conjugation, IgG is specific to human thrombin as demonstrated by immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA.
