This product can be used in immunoassays for prothrombin and thrombin as well as thrombin-inhibitor complexes.

Immunogen: Rabbit alpha-Thrombin inactivated with PPACK.

Presentation: 1.0 ml of immunoglobulin purified from sheep antiserum. The IgG concentration is 10 mg/ml in a solution of 10 mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 0.15 M NaCl and 50% glycerol (v/v).

Storage: Store between -10 and -20°C. Mix gently before use.

Specificity: IgG prepared from antiserum was analysed by immunoelectrophoresis and found to react with purified rabbit thrombin. Only one arc was seen with normal rabbit plasma.
