This product can be used for immunostaining and immunoblotting applications for human vimentin.

Immunogen: Purified recombinant vimentin (Vm) produced in bacteria. This protein constitutes a 20 kDa fragment from the amino-terminus of vimentin.

Presentation: 0.25 ml of immunoglobulin from sheep antiserum affinity purified on recombinant vimentin fragment immobilized on agarose beads. The IgG concentration is 2.0 mg/ml in 10mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 0.15M NaCl and 50% glycerol (v/v). This product contains no preservative.

Storage: Store in the freezer between -10 to -20°C. Gently mix before use.

Specificity: This antibody is specific for vimentin as demonstrated by immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry. No reactivity was seen with citrated platelet-poor plasma by immunoelectrophoresis.
