This product can be used as an enzyme labelled primary antibody in immunoblotting and immunoassay applications.

Immunogen: Purified recombinant vimentin (Vm) produced in bacteria. This protein constitutes a 20 kDa fragment from the amino-terminus of vimentin.

Presentation: Sheep IgG affinity purified on recombinant human vimentin immobilized on agarose beads is conjugated to horseradish peroxidase by the periodate method. Each vial contains 0.1 ml of IgG-HRP at a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml in a buffered stabilizer solution containing 50% glycerol (v/v). The conjugate has an Rz ratio (Reinheitszahl, A403/A280) of 0.46 as determined spectrophotometrically.

Storage: Store in the freezer between -10 to -20°C. Gently mix before use.

Specificity: Prior to conjugation, this antibody was specific for vimentin as demonstrated by immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA.
