RVV-X is purified from venom obtained from the Russells' Viper. This enzyme is homogeneous as judged by 10% SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis and possesses high specific clotting activity. RVV-X is used in activating both Human and Bovine Factor X to Xa and can be used to activate Factor IXtoIXaa.
