Fully Automated Analyzer for Affordable D-Dimer Testing

The ACL 7000 coagulation analyzer is the right choice for any laboratory that needs a full range of testing capabilities in a cost-effective system. You'll have access to a broad test menu including D-Dimer, Heparin and APCR-Leiden. Plus, you'll benefit from an easy-to-use, automated system that provides consistently reliable results.

The ACL 7000 Provides Outstanding Performance at an Excellent Value:

  • Gain an extensive test menu with clotting, chromogenic and immunologic capabilities
  • Achieve automated test requesting via host computer with the bi-directional interface
  • Improve efficiency in your test requesting with random programming
  • Receive accurate sample identification with the integral bar code reader
  • Easily review Levey-Jennings charts with the on board QC
  • Remove variables of manual pipetting with automatic sample dilutions
  • Optional External DMS

Autodilution

The ACL 7000 offers autodilution for your Factors assay high curve, ProClot, AT-III, Heparin Xa, APCR-V and D-Dimer. Dilution is performed in-line for Factors and ProClot, while AT-III and Heparin Xa employ a secondary cup.

Stored Calibration

In addition to current tests with stored calibration (PT-Fib and AT-III), you can perform other tests with this feature. The first approach uses the stored calibration as separate cycle (i.e. Heparin Xa, D-Dimer and Fibrinogen-C). The second approach is to store the calibration for subsequent runs for Factors High curve, ProClot, Plasminogen, Antiplasmin and ProChrom. This allows users to execute the run, with or without calibration, according to the option selected.

Patient Database

The powerful microprocessor allows storage of up to 300 patients for 8 tests, a total of 2400 test results. Test selection may be downloaded through the host query feature from a host computer or entered through the keypad. Demographic information for each patient may be transmitted from the host or entered via the keypad. Result flags include system warnings (E), out-of-range QC (Q), and informative messages (I). ACL 7000 provides review, print-out and delete functions by loadlist, by status, by ID and other criteria. Cumulative and sample reports can be generated using an external printer (optional).

QC Database

The systems' QC module can now store up to 10 controls for 10 tests, a total of 100 files. Each control can be given a unique ID, to ease programming it into a run. Each QC control can be assigned a user selectable position on the sample tray. Each QC file can store up to 100 results for each test/control combination (FIFO handling). For each QC test/control, results can be reviewed by either the Levey-Jennings plot or the cumulative results.

Moreover the Levey

Jennings plot and cumulative results can be printed on the optional external printer. Each record also contains mean, number of determinations, SD, CV, etc., for the total database. QC results can now be transmitted manually or automatically to the host computer.

Alphanumeric keypad

The improved keypad lets you enter sample IDs into the system by using the barcode reader or directly through the keypad. Demographic data can be entered through the alphanumeric keypad or directly from the host. The new keypad makes it easy to move through menus using the arrow keys or to browse through your database using the Page-Up/Page-Down commands. Most operations can be performed with simple keypad commands.

Bidirectional Interface

The bidirectional interface makes it easy to integrate the ACL 7000 into your laboratory. The interface allows you to download sample IDs, test requests and patient demographics via automatic host query. You are also able to transmit test results to the host computer via automatic upload, and complies with the ASTM standards protocol.

On-board Barcode Reader

Internal barcode reader allows automatic scanning of test tubes for ease of use and sample identification. Moreover, the new Host Query system (automatic downloading and uploading) makes the instrument extremely user friendly.

Random Programming

Perform random tests using single tests and profiles (you can download test requests from the host or program directly into your database). Only the tests you request will be executed. If a programmed sample tray requires more than one rotor for the analysis, you will be alerted by an audible alarm as well as by a message on the screen. You can choose from a wide range of profiles from 10 possible combinations.

APCR-V Cycle

A major specialty assay for thrombotic risk assessment, such as the APCR-V, is available through an automatic cycle.

Immunological Testing

ACL 7000 series offers expanded testing capabilities for immunological testing such as D-Dimer.

Liquid-Level Sensing During Run

Most routine tests include liquid level sensing during each aspiration with immediate user feedback. This feature is available with PT-Fib, APTT, TT and Fib-C analyses. All remaining tests have liquid level detection at the end of the loading phase.
