Goat anti-human factor IX IgG peroxidase conjugate

Immunogen: Human Factor IX (FIX) isolated from human plasma.

Presentation: 0.1 ml volume of goat IgG conjugated to horseradish peroxidase by the periodate method. The concentration is 2.0 mg/ml in 10 mM HEPES, pH 7.4, containing 0.15 M NaCl and 50% glycerol (v/v). The conjugate has an Rz ratio (Reinheitszahl, A403/A280) of 0.46 as determined spectrophotometrically. No preservatives are added.

Storage: Store between -10 and -20°C. Gently mix before use. Avoid exposure of conjugate to Sodium Azide or Thimerosal, as these can inhibit peroxidase activity.

Specificity: Prior to conjugation, this product was specific for FIX as determined by immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA.

Application: This product is suitable for use as a source of peroxidase labelled antibodies to FIX.
