This product can be used as a source of enzyme labelled antibodies to fibrinogen and fibrin products.
Immunogen: Human Fibrin fragment E (Fn-E) purified from a plasmin lysate of fibrin.
Presentation: 0.1 ml volume of Sheep IgG conjugated to horseradish peroxidase by the periodate method. The concentration is 2.0 mg/ml in a buffered stabilizer solution containing 50% glycerol (v/v). The conjugate has an Rz ratio (Reinheitszahl, A403/A280) of 0.46 as determined spectrophotometrically.
Storage: Store in the freezer between -10 and -20°C. Gently mix before use.
Specificity: IgG prior to conjugation was monospecific when analysed by immunoelectrophoresis. No reaction was seen with normal human serum and only one band was observed in plasma. Identity was verified using purified Fn-E. There is good reactivity to intact fibrinogen but no reaction was detected to purified Fibrin-D.
