This product can be used as a source of affinity-purified antibodies to hirudin.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant full-length hirudin coupled to carrier protein.
Presentation: 0.25 ml of immunoglobulin purified from sheep antiserum, further purified on immobilized hirudin followed by ion-exchange chromatography. The IgG concentration is 2.0 mg/ml in 0.01 M HEPES, pH 7.4, containing 0.15 M NaCl and 50% (v/v) glycerol. No preservatives are added
Storage: Store in the freezer between -10 and -20°C. Gently mix before use.
Specificity: Affinity purified IgG is specific for hirudin as demonstrated by immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA.
