This product can be used as a source of sheep antibodies to human Platelet Factor 4 (PF4).
Immunogen: Platelet Factor 4 (PF4) purified from human platelet concentrate.
Presentation: 1.0 ml of whole IgG purified from sheep antiserum to PF4. The IgG concentration is 10 mg/ml in 0.01 M HEPES, pH 7.4, 0.15 M NaCl and 50% glycerol (v/v). This product contains no preservative.
Storage: Store in the freezer between -10 to -20°C. Gently mix before use.
Specificity: This antibody is specific for PF4 as demonstrated by immunoelectrophoresis. A single precipitin arc is observed with normal platelet lysate, of identical mobility to that obtained with purified PF4. No reactivity was observed with plasma. This antibody also reacts with PF4-heparin complexes but does not inhibit PF4's ability to neutralize heparin.
