Murine Monoclonal Anti-Human Protein C (PC) IgG. This product can be used in ELISA assays for Protein C antigen in plasma and other fluids.
Immunogen: Protein C (PC) purified from human plasma.
Presentation: 0.25 ml of purified immunoglobulin from ascites. The IgG concentration is 2.0 mg/ml in 10 mM HEPES, pH 7.4, containing 0.15 M NaCl and 50% glycerol (v/v). No preservatives are added.
Storage: Store in the freezer between -10 and -20°C. Gently mix before use.
Specificity: This antibody is directed to an epitope on the heavy chain of human PC. There is good reactivity to unactivated and to activated PC, but not to activated PC in complex with Protein C Inhibitor (APC-PCI) or alpha1-antitrypsin (APC-AT) as measured by ELISA. There is no apparent calcium dependence. No reaction was obtained with PC deficient plasma.
