Plasma Hirudin Control

Control

Catalog #: DPGS025K

For Research Use Only

Lyophilized plasmas, at a defined Hirudin concentration, as measured with the DiaPharma Hirudin kit (catalog # DPGC002K), for the quality control of Hirudin clotting assays. Plasma Hirudin Controls are standardized by reference to hirudin concentration. The hirudin protein activity can present variations from lot to lot, according to its specific activity (usually in the range 14,000 to 16,000 ATU*/mg).

* Antithrombin Unit

Reagents

  • Hirudin Control 1 (low): 3 vials of 1 ml of normal plasma, lyophilized, at a low Hirudin concentration.
  • Hirudin Control 2 (high): 3 vials of 1 ml of normal plasma, lyophilized, at a high Hirudin concentration.

The Hirudin concentrations and the acceptancy ranges for controls 1 and 2, can present variations from lot to lot, but are indicated on the flyer provided with each set of controls.

Preparation & Stability:

Restore with 1 ml distilled water; let for 15 min at room temperature; mix gently until complete dissolution of the content.
