Lyophilized normal citrated human plasma for the quality control of coagulation factors Antithrombin, Protein C, Factor VII+X such as in the following chromogenic or clotting assays:

  • Biophen Protein C (cat # 221202 and cat # 221205)
  • Biophen ATIII (cat # 221102 and cat # 221105)
  • DiaPharma Factor VII+X (cat # DPGC051K)

The various parameters reported (Factor VII + X, Antithrombin III, Protein C, Factor VIII:C) are accurately determined by reference to the corresponding NIBSC (National Institute for Biological Standards and Controls, UK) International Standards, when available. Biophen Normal Control Plasma is tested for the absence of Lupus Anticoagulant and can be used as a negative control for this investigation. This control plasma is also tested for the absence of Activated Protein C resistance (Act PC-r). When the APTT is performed with or without Activated Protein C (APC) the ratio obtained (APTT + APC/APTT) is equal to or greater than 2.00.

Reagents & Storage

12 vials of 1 ml of normal citrated human plasma, lyophilized. Unopened reagents, must be stored at 2-8°C, in their original packaging box.
