Catalog #: 229051
Chromogenic substrate for factor IXa. For research use only.
Use: All research studies and protocols where a source of chromogenic substrate for Factor IXa is required. Factor IXa chromogenic activity is dramatically enhanced by 33% Ethylene Glycol.
Origin: Synthetic Chromogenic substrate, specific for Factor IXa, highly purified and stabilized.
Specificity: Recommended substrate for the chromogenic measurement of factor IXa.
Presentation: Vial containing 25 mg of Biophen CS-51(09), lyophilized in presence of mannitol as a bulking agent.
Reconstitution: According to the research protocol used, the Biophen CS-51(09) chromogenic substrate can be restored with variable volumes of distilled water; for example 5 mL can be used for a substrate concentration of 5 mg/mL, or 20 ml for a substrate concentration of 1.25 mg/mL, etc.
Peptide sequence: CH3SO2-(D-)CHG-Gly-Arg-pNa, AcOH
