Description
A two-site ELISA method for the measurement of rat PAI-1 activity (plasminogen-activator-inhibitor 1), on rat plasma or any other biological fluid where rat PAI-1 activity must be measured. It uses active and stabilized tPA, bound onto the microELISA plate, for active PAI-1 capture. This latter, is then revealed with a murine monoclonal antibody, specific for rat PAI-1, and coupled with peroxidase (HRP).
Assay Characteristics
Working Range: 0 to 20 ng/ml
Detection threshold: 0.5 ng/ml
Tested rat plasma: assayed at a two fold dilution or at a higher one, according to rat-PAI-1 concentration
Total assay time: 4 hours
Note: minimum order of 20 kits required.
